Greenmiles work like points you receive when buying goods and services, but instead of being rewarded with certain bonuses you can invest in selected climate protection projects to support CO₂ reduction. The German TÜV is regularly checking that all ordered CO₂ reductions are fulfilled.

Greenmiles vouchers are available directly on the website and make a great Christmas present. At the moment the Greenmiles shop offers vouchers in a festive Christmas design, additional to the regular present vouchers. The vouchers are available in different sizes, for example a 250 Greenmiles voucher costs 8.25 €. One Greenmile equals the reduction of one kilogram of CO₂. Accordingly a 250 Greenmiles voucher equals reducing 250 kilogram of CO₂. This amount already enables you to drive climate neutral for up to 2,500 km. Of course the presentee can decide to invest the miles in other projects. The Greenmiles website offers different alternatives, ranging from compensating flights to making your laptop climate neutral. The respective emissions will be compensated with the gifted amount in climate protection projects.

Another advantage of the Greenmiles vouchers: You can print the vouchers last minute at home if you still need presents. Additionally they will save you from buying wasteful presents which the presentee may not even like.

“Our vouchers are, other than other voucher related presents like a piece of the moon, no paper army. They can be redeemed easily and directly support important climate projects”, says Sven Bode, managing director of the Greenmiles GmbH.
